Private Chef Service Policies

Applicable to In-Home Long-Term & Short-Term Clients

At The Unlimited Table, we are committed to providing a seamless, respectful, and elevated in-home dining experience. To ensure the best service for you and your household, please review the following policies for both long-term and short-term private chef engagements:

1. Service Hours & Scheduling

  • Standard service hours are 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM, unless otherwise arranged.

  • Weekly schedules for long-term clients are confirmed in advance; changes must be communicated at least 48 hoursin advance.

  • For short-term/private catering bookings, a 50% deposit is required to secure your dates.

2. Menu Planning

  • All menus are customized based on your preferences, dietary needs, and schedule.

  • Long-term clients will receive weekly or bi-weekly menu planning sessions.

  • Menus must be finalized 72 hours before service for short-term clients.

3. Grocery & Ingredient Costs

  • Grocery shopping is billed separately at cost + 20% procurement fee unless included in your package.

  • Chef uses only high-quality, seasonal, and local ingredients whenever possible.

4. Kitchen Use & Clean-Up

  • We maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times.

  • Your kitchen will be cleaned after each service, including surfaces, equipment, and dishes used.

  • A functional, safe kitchen space is required; any specific equipment needs will be discussed during the consultation.

5. Payment Terms

  • Long-term clients are billed weekly or monthly, depending on agreement.

  • Short-term services must be paid in full 24 hours before service begins.

  • Accepted payment methods: Credit/Debit, ACH, Zelle, and check.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Long-term clients: Cancellations require 48-hour notice. Less than 48 hours may incur a partial service fee.

  • Short-term clients: Deposits are non-refundable if canceled within 7 days of service.

7. Confidentiality & Professionalism

  • Chef Eric operates with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.

  • All household and family information remains strictly confidential.

8. Health & Safety

  • Chef Eric is fully insured and follows all food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Clients must disclose any allergies, dietary restrictions, or health concerns.

9. Guest Dining

  • Long-term clients may request additional meals for guests with at least 48-hour notice.

  • Guest dining may incur an additional charge depending on scale and prep time.

10. Holiday & Special Occasion Rates

  • Services on major holidays or special events may incur an additional charge.

  • These rates will be discussed and approved in advance.

11. Travel with Client

  • If Chef Eric is requested to travel with a client for an extended period, all travel, lodging, and related expenses must be covered by the client.

  • A daily service rate or retainer will be established in advance based on location, schedule, and duties required.

  • Adequate accommodations and kitchen access must be arranged prior to confirming travel services.
